Kirsty Rogers is global law firm DWF‘s first Chief Sustainability Officer, leading their global sustainability initiatives and ESG strategies, ensuring the firm meets its environmental and social responsibilities. She is also a practising employment lawyer and respected member of the North West business community.

As the Chief Sustainability Officer, she has been instrumental in driving sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, showcasing her commitment to responsible business practices, resulting in the firm’s recognition by Lamp House Strategy as a leader in responsible business practices. The Lamp House Strategy report (1st place) highlights DWF’s performance in three key areas: Governance, People and Planet.
Kirsty’s leadership extends beyond her role at DWF, as she is also a member of the North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT), where she contributes to regional economic development and business innovation. Her dedication to sustainability and her efforts to drive positive change in the business community make her a key influencer and an inspiring leader in the North West.
She is actively involved with the Legal Charter 1.5, an initiative aimed at combating the climate crisis by encouraging law firms to align their strategies, operations, and client work with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. As the Chief Sustainability Officer at DWF, Kirsty plays a crucial role in this collaborative effort, which focuses on:
• Developing and sharing resources to support law firms in their sustainability efforts.
• Promoting accountability and regular reporting on climate-related actions.
• Providing education and upskilling opportunities for legal professionals on climate issues.
• Engaging in focused pro bono work to support projects that address climate change and biodiversity loss.
