Georgia Kirke
Cliobooks.ai & Write Business Results
From scaling corporate ladders to scaling rock faces, Georgia Kirke has never shied away from a challenge. But it’s her journey from solopreneur to tech innovator that’s making waves in both the publishing and technology sectors today.
Back in 2016, Georgia left full-time employment behind and took a leap of faith. Working from her kitchen table, she founded Write Business Results a business born out of a passion for helping entrepreneurs and business leaders turn their ideas and experiences into books. And not just any books — bestselling, business-building, legacy-defining books.
Georgia had a bold vision. She knew there was a huge gap in the market: 83% of adults say they want to write a book, yet fewer than 1% ever do.
Why? Lack of time, technical know-how, or the daunting nature of writing itself. Georgia’s idea was simple but powerful — build a business that takes care of the writing and publishing process, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on sharing their knowledge.
With this mission in mind, Write Business Results took off — helping over 40 clients produce bestselling books and supporting them in generating five and six-figure revenues from their published work. Even more impressively, WBR doubled in size during the Covid-19 pandemic, proving Georgia’s leadership and ability to turn challenge into opportunity.
Georgia’s entrepreneurial journey hasn’t been without setbacks. In 2019, she suffered a life-changing injury in a rock climbing accident. But rather than let this pause her plans, she adapted — running her business from her hospital bed with the help of a close-knit freelance team. Then came 2020 and the global pandemic. Again, Georgia saw opportunity where others saw obstacles. She leveraged the moment to connect with more business leaders who suddenly had the time — and need — to tell their stories.
Georgia’s entrepreneurial fire didn’t stop at WBR. Since the company’s inception, she had a vision — to create a technology that could democratise the publishing process further, making it even more accessible, inclusive, and scalable. That vision became a reality in 2024 with the launch of Cliobooks.ai.
Cliobooks.ai is a ground breaking AI-powered platform that supports non-fiction authors in creating books through voice or text, at their own pace, using tailored prompts and guidance. It’s smart, intuitive, and ethical — designed to preserve each author’s unique voice while accelerating the production process.
“Clio isn’t about replacing authors,” Georgia explains. “It’s about empowering them — making the process more accessible for people with time constraints, physical challenges, or those who simply need a structured path to bring their story to life.”
Today, the platform already has 200 users at various stages of the book creation process. Two of the first Cliobooks.ai will be published in early 2025 — one of which is set to be traditionally published. Notably, Clio recently won Disruptive Technology of the Year at the 2024 Business Awards UK.
Georgia’s rise in the traditionally male-dominated tech space is as inspiring as it is trailblazing. Not only is she building transformative tools, but she’s also actively contributing to the broader conversation around ethical AI, leadership, and the future of publishing.
Georgia’s work is driven by a deeper mission: to help more people tell their stories, leave a legacy, and ultimately, to combat illiteracy in the UK and beyond.
With a powerful combination of creativity, tenacity, and compassion, Georgia Kirke is rewriting the narrative for what female entrepreneurs — and female tech leaders — can achieve.
She’s not just building a business, she’s building a movement. Want to hear more from this tech entrepreneur? she will be sharing more of her story at the 33rd annual Inspiring Women Awards on 16th May 2025. Details HERE.
