Earlier this year we dipped our toes into international waters by opening a category to the rest of the UK and the world beyond. Nominations were varied, inspiring and some were, lets say interesting, possibly misunderstanding the purpose of the awards.
In the end we had 3 fantastic finalists, two from the UK and one from South Africa. Click on their names to read more.
Sahira Irshad (Mums United)
Lance Corporal Natasha Day (Defence Breastfeeding Network)
Valerie Naidoo (Wireless Female Network)
The success of this award has led it to become a permanent category – the Women Making Waves Award.
Visit Nominations to find out more and submit your nomination. It could be someone you know or yourself – don’t be shy.
